Network Analyst, Winnipeg
The Senior Network Analyst designs, plans, and implements customer network technology, providing application and maintenance support to end users, implementing new technologies to improve network performance. Focused on Oxygen’s vision and mission, the Senior Network Analyst becomes recognized as the expert by our customers. The Network Analyst position involves a disciplined, self-motivated, team-oriented individual to join our on-site technical department. A strong willingness to learn coupled with technical and customer service skills are a must.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all servers are functioning normally, proactively monitoring and servicing
  • Prioritizes all client issues and follows up on outstanding tickets/emails
  • Discusses issues with team and sets daily team schedule
  • Provides efficient remote problem solving/troubleshooting solutions to customers in a professional manner focused on providing an exceptional customer experience and building the Oxygen reputation for service
  • Maintains network operations, software applications, and operating systems, performing regular maintenance
  • Takes the initiative to find unique and creative ways to help customers cut costs, resolve issues or leverage new technologies
  • Manages assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
  • Troubleshoots technical malfunctions to resolve operational issues and restore services
  • Performs research necessary to fulfill customer requirements and solve any technical issues
  • Analyzes network traffic and provides accurate and timely feedback regarding the quality and reliability of the deployed solutions
  • Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Conducts tests and performs security and quality controls
  • Maintains existing network equipment and servers to include patches and upgrades for enhancement or security
  • Evaluates and tests new technology for feasibility and implementation
  • Interacts with other departments to ensure everyone is aware of system problems and solutions are implemented
  • Coordinates with all team members to ensure project timelines are met

NOC Analyst, Winnipeg

The Network Operations Centre Analyst position is for a detail and customer service oriented team player who wants to join our busy NOC department. Our NOC department runs 7am to 7pm with our technicians taking various shifts. The primary goal of the NOC is to triage and priorize incoming technical service requests and organize their resolution via phone and email. Strong technical skills and/or previous Help Desk experience is a definite asset.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provides remote problem solving/troubleshooting solutions to customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Builds strong relationships with customers based on trust, knowledge and professionalism
  • Manages time effectively
  • Proactively identifies new and additional business at client sites, building a true partnership with customers while increasing overall sales for Oxygen Technical Services
  • Takes the initiative to find unique and creative ways to help customers cut costs, resolve issues or leverage new technologies
  • Maintains network operations, software applications, and operating systems, performing regular maintenance
  • Manages assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
